Clydesdale Christian Youth Trust was formed by a group of Christians from local churches of different denominations in 2008 and is a charity registered in Scotland, working in association with SU Scotland.
Clydesdale has four Secondary Schools and over 30 Primary Schools.
Our vision is that all the school-age children and young people of Clydesdale would have opportunities to engage with the Bible and to explore the meaning, value and purpose of life from a Christian perspective.
Together, we seek to support school communities in both the formal and informal curriculum, including Religious and Moral Education, Religious Observance, Chaplaincy, and SU Groups, Holidays and Weekends, especially the Lanarkshire Weekends.
We also work with local congregations, supporting them as they develop their children’s and youth ministries.
In all of this, we aim to encourage prayer for our schools and their communities, and to support the many volunteers who share our vision.
